This is only part of a scene in which the bad guy (with the feather in his hat) convinces the townsfolk about the benefits of a railroad being built through town.
This scene had numerous challenges. There was a very noisy highway one block away, and in the rain the car tires driving over asphalt was very loud. We filmed the crowd reverse angle at a different location than where we filmed Walter Petryk giving his spiel. And the Greek Chorus was filmed two months later 100 miles away.
I don’t know how audiences are going to respond to the frequent intercutting with b/w footage. There’s no way to be certain till the film is finished.
